Easter Bunnies ~ How to make your own Easter Bunny / Sock Bunny

March 31, 2012

My Little People and I went to a ‘Messy Easter’ event organised by a playgroup held at a local church. It was fantastic and the bigger of the Little People had a lot of fun making and creating various Easter-themed crafts. My favourite of all the wonderful things they made was these cute little sock bunnies!

How to make your own Easter Sock Bunny:

  • Fill the bottom half of a sock with rice and scrunched-up paper, then put a rubber band round the middle to form the neck.
  • Do the same again for the head and tie another rubber band round the top for the head.
  • Snip the remaining sock in two to make ears.
  • Add googly eyes, a foam nose and foam teeth. Ta Daaah! Not Made By Yours Truly, (but I did help get the rice in, so that must count!)

And here are my two big Little People looking very proud of themselves indeed. And rightly so 😀
