Lots of new summery makes

May 8, 2013

Last week I got a lovely parcel in the post from the ever so clever Tiny Inc – with the most gorgeous knitted cushion, a beautiful little needle case with Tiny’s trademark blanket stitching around the side and a wonderful sewing jar full of surprises; buttons, lace, mini scissors, Christmassy ribbon, threads of all colours… What a wonderful giveaway – and if you haven’t already checked out her handiwork, pop along now and have a looksey!

Then I’ve been busy making a few more things – notably a reversible sun hat for my Middle Little Person, an owl bag and a hedgehog bag, (just because!), a turquoise version of my crayon roll and a little iphone cover with a squishy fleece lining, a popper tab to keep it safe and a beautiful turquoise & blue fabric for the front.

I have a stall coming up this weekend ~ outdoors so cross your fingers for me! ~ so if you’re in the area, it’d be great to see you…

Aww, glad you like your bits and pieces and thanks for the mention.

The hat is brilliant and perfect for this lovely sunny spell.

But I absolutely love the owl bag!!

Do you line them or are they a canvas and don’t need it?

      Thank you again tiny.
My personal favourite is the hedgehog – the bags are made with calico, so don’t *need* a lining, but I’ve lined them with the same fabric as I’ve used for the handles for a bit of added something!

I love them and it has got me thinking about something similar. Inspired!!
