The littlest trousers for my Littlest Person

I’ve just made these super sweet little trousers for my Littlest Person. I used some wonderfully simple instructions from Prudent Baby’s website . Basically I drew around some trousers of his that already fit (folded in half) for the pattern, folded the fabric in half and then half again (so four layers thick, with a folded edge), pinned and cut out the pattern & fabric (so ending up with two pieces of fabric with curved edges for the middle of the trousers), stitched the middle together, hemmed the trousers legs and added an elastic waist.

I made them out of an old super soft bedsheet that used to fit his crib and added a little appliqué car on the leg (with ever so slightly dodgy stitching on the red felt wheels).
